Dr.-Ing. Philipp Walter

Dr. Philipp Walter studied electrical engineering at RWTH Aachen. During his studies, he gained exposure to the field of electrical power engineering through a scholarship program in the United States. He completed his doctorate in this field at the Institute for High Voltage Engineering at RWTH Aachen. Dr. Philipp Walter has been involved in industrial property protection since 2003. He became a German patent attorney in 2007 and a representative before the European Union Intellectual Property Office in 2007. In 2008, he was accredited as a representative before the European Patent Office. Dr. Philipp Walter also holds an LL.M. in European Industrial Property. He’s authorized to represent clients before the Unified Patent Court (UPC).
Born in Düsseldorf in 1978, Dr. Philipp Walter is fluent in English and has basic knowledge of French. In his free time, he enjoys astrophotography, plays football, and spends time with his three children.
