Dr.-Ing. Jörn Lueg-Althoff

Dr Jörn Lueg-Althoff studied industrial engineering with a focus on production technology at the Technical University of Dortmund. He then completed his doctorate at the Institute for Forming Technology and Lightweight Construction (IUL) there in the field of metal joining using forming technology. After completing his doctorate, he became project manager of the “Research Center for Industrial Metal Processing”, a research centre based at the IUL in cooperation with a well-known international automotive supplier.
Dr Jörn Lueg-Althoff has been working in the field of intellectual property since 2020. He has been admitted as a German patent attorney and representative before the European Union Intellectual Property Office since 2024.
